Why is an interactive vending
machine better than a regular vender?
The machine looks exciting! The game, along with the
colorful product is like a blinking neon sign saying play me - put in a
quarter! This additional draw attracts customers, and then the
challenging game encourages them to play more than once. Interactivity increases the value
that the customer receives from a bulk candy vending machine, because in addition to receiving the
candy/gum the customer gets to play a game with the bulk product before it is
dispensed. At most locations,
this increases the interest in the machine, and thus the machines sales
volume. The machine's novelty can also help you obtain locations,
because many
locations want to have a "kid-friendly" atmosphere and because
an exciting, new machine will increase the location's vending
revenue. These points make your location sales pitch more
interesting to business owners and managers.

How much money will my vending machine make?
Your profits will be affected by
any number of unpredictable factors such as the economy, product cost, the
amount of traffic at your machines' locations, the number of hours-per-day
and days-per-week that your location is open, commission paid to your
location, and how well you keep your machines cleaned and stocked. It
is impossible for us or anyone else selling vending machines to predict or guarantee how much any
vending machine will make for you.
We can tell
you that it is possible to be very successful using our vending
machines. We have many customers that we have been dealing with for
over 3 years that continue to purchase our machines and expand their
routes. See our testimonials page.
The old saying "The three most important
things in any business are Location, Location, Location" holds true in vending.
To be successful, the idea is to get enough high quality, reliable
machines in the right locations, sell the right type of products, and offer
great customer service to your location owners.
How much
do I have to pay the business owner where my machines are located?
Your
machine can be charity sponsored and thus most business owners might donate the floor space at no charge to you.
However, on our route we have found that
the better locations typically want a percentage of the machine's
sales. A commission of 20% is a typical starting place for
a one location contract.
Are the
machines complicated?
Our
machines come completely assembled and ready to mount on the
stands. They are engineered for reliability and easy servicing.
Will I need
employees?
Not
usually, because vending is a great family business. You can start
out part-time because one person can service a medium sized route quite
easily.
Where do
I buy candy?
Candy is
available from wholesalers in most cities, or you can have product
shipped conveniently to your door from .
We have very competitive prices. Click here to see our vending
catalog.
Should I
use name brand products?
There is no
substitute for quality. Customers expect quality products, and
household favorites are more attractive because of the national
advertising dollars spent on developing a brand image. If your
machine has non-brand low quality products, or even worse, stale
products, your customers will be less likely to use your machines on
their next visit to your location.
Do I need a
truck or van?
Not
usually, the size or our vending equipment permits your using your
existing vehicle.
Can I
operate from my house?
There is
not really any need to have an expensive office or warehouse.
Are there
any special skills required?
Not
really, the most important personality trait is a persistent
attitude, and a desire to manage your own business.
How long
does it take to get started?
We can
typically have your machines to you in a week or two after receiving
your order. When you are placing your order, we can tell you more
closely what the delivery time will be depending upon shipping distance,
our inventory and our production schedule.
What
are
's
business hours?
Our sales
department is open
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. Our answering service
is on 24-7 so you can leave us a message. You can also email us
anytime at info@gumfun.com.
How are
shipping charges calculated?
Normal
shipping is FedEx Ground. Freight is calculated and added to each
order based on your zip code and the weight of the packages. We
make every effort to pack each order as efficiently as possible to
minimize your freight charges. If you need your order shipped in
an expedited manner, please tell us when ordering.
How do I
pay for my orders?
We
currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
If you would like to pay by check or money order, we will ship your
order after the check clears. We do not ship orders COD.
Can I track
my order's shipment status?
We can give
you your FedEx tracking number and you can track your shipment at the
FedEx tracking page. If you provide your
email address when ordering, we will email you your tracking number when
the order is shipped.
What
happens if my order is damaged in shipment?
We cannot
be responsible for breakage, damage or loss of merchandise while in
transit. Report all freight claims to FedEx within 10 days of
receiving the damaged shipment. After FedEx submits a claim to us, we
will be able to replace the lost or damaged portion of your order.
